Survey
There are more than 8000 residential care workers registered with the SSSC, and we want to work with as many of them as possible. Our online survey will seek to understand.
We need support with making sure the survey is fit for purpose and easy to fill in, as well as to ensure it reaches the entire Scottish workforce.
Appreciative Inquiry
We want to understand what residential care workers do, think, and feel when successfully avoiding the use of physical restraint. We want to mobilise practice knowledge from 5 providers who have made progress towards restraint reduction.
We need support with creating resources that will translate what comes out of the inquiry into support and training for the entire workforce.
Sharing what we've learnt
We will share the learning from the project through 2 reports, online events and a suite of resources for the sector.
