Get Involved
I want to get involved (interested professional)
The project primarily involves residential care workers and children or young people who are impacted by the pledge in The Promise that "Scotland is a country that strives not to restrain its children."
At the end of the project, in early 2028, you will be able to:
- Attend one of our events
- Use the resources we've co-designed with residential care workers to give your team the practice knowledge, values and attitudes necessary to further reduce and possibly even eliminate the use of physical restraint
- Read our reports if you're interested in finding out how physical restraint is being used in Scotland
In the meantime, you can check out SPRAG's activities, the progress of the Restraint and Seclusion Bill in the Scottish Parliament, and our News and Resources pages.
