We're developing the online survey with input from residential care workers and partners to ensure it is clear, relevant and quick to complete. We'll share the survey launch date here as soon as it's confirmed.
Early conversations highlight the importance of relationship-based practice, predictable routines, and team reflection when supporting children and young people in distress.
We will work with five care providers to explore what is working when restraint is avoided, and to mobilise practice-knowledge across the sector.
