Keyboard shortcuts
You can use this website without a mouse. This page lists the most common keyboard controls used in modern browsers.
Basic navigation
- Tab — move to the next interactive element (link, button, form control)
- Shift + Tab — move to the previous interactive element
- Enter — activate a link or button
- Space — activate a button / toggle a checkbox (browser dependent)
- Arrow keys — move within menus, radio groups, and some controls
- Esc — close a menu or dialog (where supported)
Page search
- Ctrl + F (Windows/Linux) or ⌘ + F (Mac) — find text on the current page
Zoom
- Ctrl + + / Ctrl + - (Windows/Linux) — zoom in/out
- ⌘ + + / ⌘ + - (Mac) — zoom in/out
- Ctrl + 0 or ⌘ + 0 — reset zoom
Skip links and headings
Many users rely on headings and landmarks to move around a page. Where available, you can also use “skip” links to jump past repeated navigation.
